When Is JAMB Exam Starting for 2023? According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), the starting date for the 2023 JAMB UTME examination is from Saturday, 29th April 2023, to Monday, 12th May 2023.

Following the recent ASUU strike and Universities and Polytechnics calendar Nationwide, the next JAMB registration would be officially announced on jamb.gov.ng starting on 14 January 2023.

What To Expect In Jamb 2023

1. Use of National Identification Number (NIN).
2. Approval of more Jamb CBT Centres.
3. 60 English Questions and 40 Questions from other Subjects.
4. Zero payments at CBT Centres to avoid exploitation.
5. Registration will take a month and one week.
6. Jamb CBT will take two weeks to complete.
7. Reprinting of slips for JAMB exam date (7 days to UTME)
8. Jamb is Computer-Based with CCTV Cameras in all the CBT Centres.

Does Jamb Set Theory?

Jamb sets only Objective Questions. Jamb will not set theory questions and there will not be practical. Only Waec and Neco Sets Theory Exams.

Jamb has both UTME and Direct Entry. UTME is for secondary school leavers and those who need Admission into 100 level or ND Programme in Nigeria.

Jamb Direct Entry is for admission directly into 200 level and is for those who already have ND, HND, Jupeb, IJMB, or other A-Level programs certificates.
